Mary. He Called Her Mother.

Mary appears only a few times in the Bible, but those few passages come at crucial moments. Despite her prominence in the biblical narrative, other than the passages related to Christmas, her story has largely been neglected.  The Mary of the Bible was an unmarried, pregnant teenage girl in first-century Palestine. She was a woman of courage, humility, spirit and resolve. Her submissive response to the angel Gabriel changed our world forever. But her story doesn’t end with Jesus’ birth, it continues all the way to His cross and the days of the early church.
