Freedom! Imagine walking into a full prison yard and asking, “How many of you want to be free?” What response do you think you would get? Everyone would jump at the chance, shouting, “I want freedom!” The Bible teaches we are prisoners of sin. Wonderfully, Christ’s cross frees us. But many believe that Jesus isn’t enough. We have to add to the Cross, that we’re still imprisoned.
In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, he writes to spiritual ex-cons about how to live a free life after being prisoners. Through these words of Scripture, Jesus is leading us to understand the amazing ramifications of our salvation and to embrace a new way to live our lives in true freedom. Only Jesus can give us true freedom. Join us during the coming Sundays as we delve into the book of Galatians to find freedom in Christ.
