John and Emily (Ferber) Brensinger are in the process of planting Grace Life Bible Fellowship, Inc in Crandon. Both are certified biblical counselors with counseling playing a vital role in their church plant. Along with his involvement in jail ministry, John serves as chaplain and commander for the local American Legion Post. The couple are missionaries with the Rural Home Mission Association.
Both John and Emily grew up in Burlington. Between his junior and senior year of high school at BHS, John joined the U.S. Army Reserves. Then in 1992, John and Emily were married. Today, they have four adult children and six grandchildren. Together, they enjoy hiking, biking, eating out, heading “Up North,” and spending quality time with family.
